I have a pageant gown to sell, so if anyone knows of a young lady who is competing in a pageant, and needs a dress, I have one. It is a stunning Claire’s Collection bronze dress. I wore it once while competing in the Miss GA USA pageant. Please let me know if you’re interested. I am willing to negotiate on the price. I need to get it off of my hands.
In other news. There’s a great blog at www.merchantmaidens.blogspot.com that interviews women who have home based businesses, and features multiple ways to earn money from home. It’s a great blog and quite inspiring.

During this time of economic crisis, it may seem like a ludicrous idea to think about being or becoming a stay at home mom. But, I don’t think so. Many have suggested that I go back to teaching, because it’s a secure job. And, I need that right now in this economic crisis. Yes, teaching would be great. But, right now, I just can’t bear the thought of leaving my two little sweeties.
And, no, I’m not a stay at home mom because I can simply afford it. No. I choose to. And I work hard at earning extra money through writing, selling, and tutoring. So far, it has worked for me, and God has provided enough for me to pay debts that I have.
So, economic crisis or not, the decision to stay at home and raise your kids, or work at home and raise them is still a worthy one. Keep the faith.

When it seems that you may be getting nowhere in your freelance writing pursuits, keep pursuing your goal. Lately, I have felt near the point of burn out in my freelance writing career, because I’m not making what I set out to make each month. But, I was inspired by hearing someone speak a few days ago, about not losing faith. Keep up the action and have faith that your hard work will pay off, if you don’t lose heart. God will see your efforts and honor them. It may not come at the time that you would have liked, but it will come sooner or later. Just don’t lose focus. Keep your eyes on the prize, and goal will soon be realized.

Pageant coaching is a great work from home opportunity. I know of women who conduct pageant coaching in specialized areas like developing interview skills, or image consulting, who do it through telephone consultations. You can earn a considerable amount, depending on what you charge. For those who enjoy pageants, and working with young ladies, this could be a rewarding career.
If you have experience or expertise in communications, image consulting, voice and speech, fitness or modeling, you can use it to develop a rewarding business as a pageant coach. There are many young ladies who love competing in pageants, who are looking for the extra edge to help them stand out in a pageant. Maybe you could offer your expertise to help.
