I discovered a great website for mothers wanting to work from home. It’s www.wahm.com . The website is an online magazine for women who want to work from home. It’s filled with articles, and great job leads and posts that can help any woman on her way to becoming a work at home mom. There is a forum section where you can meet other work at home moms and discuss various concerns and share tips with how to successfully transition to being a work at home mom and ideas for starting a home business.
It’s a great website. Make sure you check it out or pass on the info to someone you know who is interested in working from home.

Today I got out to do bit of shopping, and I enjoyed myself. I realize that I really don’t get out much since I’ve had the baby. Lack of transportation, and my daughter’s refusal to take a bottle have contributed to that. But, I ventured out tonight, as my mom baby-sat my kids for me.
As a stay and work at home mom, sometimes it can be difficult to get out and mingle with the rest of the world. But, it’s necessary for a good sense of well being. Even if you’re with the kids. I need to make it a weekly thing to get out with the kids to go to the mall or a friends house or something. Lately, my outings have consisted of going to friends’ baby showers. In fact, I’m going to my cousin’s baby shower tomorrow. But, I enjoy them, as it gives me a chance to catch up with friends and relatives that I haven’t talked to in a while.
So, keep writing, and continue working from home. But, don’t forget to enjoy socializing with others.

I’ve been hearing about a home business in direct sales called thirty-one. With this business you sell handbags, stationery, and other gifts with free monogramming. The products are cute, and I have read of women who have had success with selling them. I’m considering selling some, because they have products that I would buy for myself. You can visit the website at www.thirtyonegifts.com . It seems like a great business for any outgoing stay at home mom who would like to sell cute totes, purses, and other gifts to friends and others. So, if you’re looking for a way to earn some extra money this holiday season, this business would be a great way to earn money and give some gifts too!!

I love watching Top Chef on Bravo. It inspires me to learn to become a better cook. It’s great to see people passionate about cooking and it’s fascinating to see how they come up with delicious dishes. It’s also itneresting to see their mishaps, and people’s reactions to their food.
I think that it takes guts to cook food for people. You have to be pretty confident that your food and cooking is pretty tasty. I’m not at the point that I would feel comfortable cooking for multitudes. I would be too self-conscious about my cooking skills. But, hopefully, someday soon, I will be able to proudly showcase my cooking skills.

Fruition-designs.com is a website devoted to graphic design. It is a business ran by a stay at home mother, so it deserves to be spotlighted, because I love stories of work at home moms. The owner, a mother of four, designs blogs, invitations, announcements, and various types of stationery. From what I’ve seen she is very talented. She started out as a part time graphic designer. After the birth of her first child, she decided to design full time from home. Her business continues to thrive, and I hope that she sees even more business success.
So be sure to visit this website if you are ever in need of a graphic designer. Support work at home moms!!

I am finally back to writing and posting again, and I’m glad. I was away visiting family for two weeks, and had no access to a computer. I could have gone to the library, but then I would have needed someone to watch my two month old daughter, and that’s pretty much a no-go. She doesn’t take a bottle right now, and I didn’t want to burden anyone with a screaming baby.
Anywho, I’m back to writing, and it feels great. I’m typing now as she squirms on my lap. Lately, I’ve been feeling the urge to get a part time job, as my bills seem to mount. Thankfully by March of next year, I will have paid off at least one of my credit card bills. That will be a burden off of me. With a part time job, I would be able to make more money in less time than I do with writing at this point. But, then, I would have to find someone to watch the babies, and try to work around their schedule.
What I really need is discipline. If I could just wake up early. Say, around 5:30 a.m. or so, and crank out at least 10 articles in about 4 hours, I would be good. That’s my goal for this week. I didn’t do it today, because my baby kept me up until 1a.m. and I couldn’t find the strength to get out of bed early. Tomorrow will be different.
